SMS 2.0 SP3 and WinXP clients

Is there anybody who can tell me why the Network Discovery Method does not work for computers running WinXP prof. edition ?
When I log in using a modified logon-script SMS-client is installed but we want to install via Remote Client Installation.

Yes, I have installed SP3 for SMS and it is running
I also checked out the article but my problem is that the XP-machines are not discovered automatically....
