SMS 2.0 Software Inventory

Aftre setting up SMS 2.0 and playing with it a bit, I decided to broaden the scope of my softawre inventory to include .dll files. I told SMS to collect this inventory every hour over a 1 day period to update the database. When I look at the resource explorer for any given computer, the last scanned date is over a week ago. Any ideas why this might be happening?

Go into SMS service manager and try stop and starting the SMS_SOFTWARE_INVENTORY_PROCESS or any other service that related to software inventory.
