SMS 2.0 on XP Client

Yeah it works with no problem. (Not sure if there is a SP requirement but i wouldnt use under sp 4 anyway). I have SP 5 on right now.
On the other question, what do you mean you can't find the client?? On a collection list or on the client machine?
To find XP in a collection use this collection on the central site :
select sms_r_system.ResourceID,sms_r_system.ResourceType,sms_r_system.Name,sms_r_system.SMSUniqueIdentifier,sms_r_system.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,sms_r_system.Client from sms_r_system where OperatingSystemNameAndVersion like 'Microsoft Windows NT%Workstation%5.1%'
If its on the workstation do you have the boundries setup right?
