I'm trying to make a logo composed of nothing but smooth curved thin lines, no filled shapes...I've been using the pen tool and then stroking the path with the brush tool but the line isn't quite as smooth as I'd like...is there a better way to do this?

Use a higher resolution or use a vector illustration program like Illustrator.

the logo is for screen only so any resolution over 72 wouldn't help, right?

While editing, you can work at a greater resolution. Upon completion of the graphic, you can reduce to the size needed. The resampling will smooth your art.

-you should also make sure you are working in RGB mode. You are bound to have 'jaggies' if you are painting an indexed image.

thanks jimoblak...I'll try editing at a higher resolution and see if that helps...
