If I have to reboot my SMGR, will that affect Session Manager functioning?

No. Session Managers will keep running with the cached config.

However, don't restart your Session Manangers until the System Manager is fully online!

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

great thanks-
I ran command changeIPFQDN -dns x.x.x.x,x.x.x.x and the command took and said it was restarting networking, but I'm still hitting the old dns server while doing an nslookup. I'm thinking I may need to reboot this. What is the proper way to do that from the CLI, if I need to do that?

sudo /opt/Avaya/vsp/rebootSMGR -r

I'll give that command a go. When making the DNS changes I saw that 127.0.0.1 was in the list. Should that be retained?
