I need to take snaps of my geo smgrs and it states to stop the geo and re enable after snaps complete. What is the impact of geo being stopped and then re enabled? Does the system become inaccessible? V8.1

its fine to stop the geo, the Primary SMGR will remain in charge and working as that is where every thing is looking to. Then just take the Snapshot and start it back up.
