SMGR backup to CM directory?

Is it possible to store the backup of SMGR to the CM Server?

Never tried, but where are you storing the CM backup? Isn't that hard to setup an external linux server to store all your backups.

Update, I successfully backed up SMGR to the directory of CM. Steps I took are backup smgr, tick remote, put the ip of CM and credentials in it, for the file name puth the path+file name (eg. /var/.../filename).
