SMDR on partner ACS R7

does anyone have any ideas on why I wouldn't be getting any reports from the smdr port? I have a rj45 to db9 (355A) adapter that I succesfully used with the admin port to upload programing. I have moved it over to the smdr port, opened up hyper terminal, set my setting 1200,8,n,1, made a few test calls and nothing... help??

Try turning the flow control off in hyperterminal. You should see buffered calls as soon as you connect to the SMDR port.

Does anyone know how many calls the buffer will hold? or where I can get programing "code" for the sdmr port?

i am also having a problem with the smdr port as well as the admin port i connected the smae way you did and hyperterminal says its connected down at the bottom of the screen but i dont get anything in the blank window where info usually shows i have also tried to connect using a vax terminal which i though should work cause you can connect a terminal printer to the port but still nothing any help for me on this one guys
