I use a serial port logger to pull SMDR records into SQL. Unfortunately, I can only pull records when the IVS2 or IPX is set to output in 1400 format. The reason is that in 2400 format, it does not append a CR or CR/LF to the end of a record.

Does anyone know how to force a CR or CR/LF to the end of SMDR record data for 2400 format data?

I can no longer use 1400 format, since the call start time does not have seconds on it. ARGH~!

Thanks a lot!

Try command D001>6>1 execute "Number of line feeds after printing" Then busy out the APOO and unbusy it.

I had tried that, but no luck. I got a different seriald data logger, that has flow control (Advanced Serial Data Logger, and that seems to work.

Thanks anyway.
