Hello,

I have a NEC 2000ips software version 3000 that we are trying to setup SMDR on port 0 of the MP which was being used for matworx (now setup to use IP). I have followed the steps posted here and in the manual as follows.

4000>0>14
4001>0>1
4002>0>1
4003>0>1
4004>0>0
4005>0>1
4006>0>1
4008>0>4
1306>XXXX>1
410>03
1305>XXXX>0
3549>ZZ>0
08>463>0
08>040>0
08>803>0
where XXXX is each extension and ZZ is each trunk.

This is going to the same PC, com port, and cable that we used for matwork so I know they all work. But, using hyper-terminal set to 9600-8-n-1 I get no output from the MP.

I'm probably just missing something simple but not sure what it is. Anyone have any ideas on what could be my problem?

Try command 3514 for your outbound routes......

ahh sorry I skipped that when typing it out.

3514>ZZ>1 (this is default but I set anyway)is done as well.

I do not think the cable used for Matworx will work:

(1) MP Built-in SMDR on RS-232C
MP card
RS RVS-4SCA-C/RS RVS-15S CA-A or RS NORM-4S CA-A
