SMDR and SCN

I have an question about SMDR.

We have an customer with 2 sites connected via SCN. They would like to use a call detail recording program to record the calls.
When an external call is tranferred from site 1 to site 2, is this recorded as an internal call or external?.

When you make an internal call from site 1 to site 2 is this marked as internal or external?

what level of software are they on? are you likely to upgrade at all later this year?

CDR is on its way out. aparently

The sofware level is 4.1

I would like to use SMDR not CDR

With 4.2, not sure about 4.1:
Is Internal
0 or 1, denoting whether both parties on the call are internal or external (1 being an internal call). Calls to SCN destinations are indicated as internal.
