I am trying to share windows clients with my linux systems. On windows I am using "omninfs" wich works fine from windows to linux, but I have that currently disabled on windows. The problem is with samba. I am able to see the name of the server in every win95/98 client in network neighborhood, but when I click on the computer (linuxsambaserver) I was getting "network busy error" so by editing the hosts file I did not get that error anymore. The new error "\\Xresearchserver is not accessible." ( The specified computer did not recieve your request. Try again later.)
My samba server is operated by RedHat 6.1 2.2.12 kernel.
The smb.conf file is as configured:
email lxfrank90@hotmail.com
so that I can email you a copy of the smb.conf file if anyone can help me.
thanks.
