Hello,
In our ASP application we are trying to use the Java Smart Viewer. This is because we have Windows and Mac clients. I'm using the code in SmartViewerJava.asp as an include file. My problem is this:
When I run a report using SmartViewerJava.asp I get a gray screen and the following error:
Load: class com.seagatesoftware.img.ReportViewer.ReportViewer not found
The ASP is running on a Win 2000 Server with IIS 5 under its own web site and CR 8.5 Developer installed on the Server.
Reports will run and display perfect when I use the SmartViewerActiveX.asp, so I know my code to this point is working.
Here is the best part. When I tested my ASP from a Virtual Directory under the IIS Default Web Site, the Report runs and displays perfect on Win NT, Win 2000 Pro, and Mac 9.1 clients all using IE.
I have been trying to find out the differences in my web site running on port 8002 and the Default Web Site with a Virtual Directory. I'm not having any luck.
Does anyone have any suggestions on this matter?
Thank you in advance for your time,
Steve DiDomenico
