Greetings all

1. I got the seller to provide a copy so I have 3 copies of this now. Thanks anyway.

2. the DL url is for Win 2000 & I am using NT TSE. I think that HP has closed down the site that held info. on old Compaqs.

The download is for SmartStart 5.5 and it is not specifically for Windows 2000, it just happens to be under the Windows 2000 section.

Greetings again & thanks for the comeback about the DL.

I am getting it now. BTW, the reseller's CD was 618 MB & the HP CD is 364 MB. Actually 372 after finished. There must be a big diff.

Lastly I am having problems with the reinstall, namely a browser can not do DNS. I can ping the numeric IP but not the words in the url?

Correction

The prior Reseller CD was 618,146 kb & the new one is 618,466 kb.

I do not know yet what the diff. is.
