The network we have runs on win 2000 with XP Pro clients, we use exchange 5.5 and outlook for our mail server/clients.

We include signatures with all e-mails in the business. This works fine when typing a new message in outlook, but if you right click on a file and then select send to > mail recept the signature disapears.

l know you can add in the signature in outlook, but l was wondering if there is someway so its always included in every e-mail.

Many Thanks in Advance!

Open Outlook and make sure you're in the inbox
On the Menu bar click on 'Tools' --> 'Options' --> 'Mail Format' tab
Click 'Signature Picker' and then click 'New'.
In the 'Enter a name for your new signature box', enter a name.
Under 'Choose how to create your signature', select 'Start from scratch', then click, Next.
In the 'Signature text box', type the text you want to include in the signature (as you want it to appear).
Click on 'Finish' --> 'OK' --> 'Apply' --> 'Ok'

This signature will appear in the compose mailbox every time you attempt to compose new mail.

Regards.

Erik

Thanks for the reply Erik.

l should of been a little clearer, l have already set up the signatures on all user accounts.

So when typing a new mail in outlook it works perfectly.

BUT

If you rightclick on a word file and select send to > Mail Receipt. The signature doesnt come up, which is a bit strange seeing as it works fine composing a new e-mail in outlook.

Thanks,

Andy

In Word, under Tools > Options, select the General tab. On this tab, select the "Email Options" button. There you will see a signature option.

Unfortunately, there is no tie in with your Outlook signature, so you will need to create it from scratch.
