Hi all

A problem:
Two IPO's in SCN, in two different countries. A User on location A forwards all calls to his mobile. A location B user calls the extension on location A, which causes the IPO on location B to dial the forwarding number on it's own lines..

I have tried almost all possible things with different linegroup ID's and other things, but without a solution.

Anyone??
 
unless the divert at site A was programmed to use site B lines then this is not posible.
this would of coures mean that calls from site A would also dial out from Site B

As site A & site B are in diferent countrys surely it makes sence to dial out on site A & avoid paying for an international mobile call.
 
The problem is this:

As location B's lines are used, the national code for location A is missing! Therefore the call either fails or arrives at a wrong recipient!
 
Strange, I would expect the call to be made from the Site A switch
What Software versions are you using?
 
I would also expect that!
SW is 2.1(24)

Only solution is this (example), shortcode on site B

SC: divertnumber
TN: 0045divertnumber
LG: whatever
Feature: Dial

But then the call is not made over VCM...
 
as an alternative work around

SC <divert Number>
TN <divert Number>
Feature Dial
Line group <VOIP Line>

This will send the call down the Voip to Site A

It could also be modifid to always send calls local to Site A down the VoIP link & break out, saving call charges :)

Just like this forum!
But back to reality, another bug to report...

Logically it the system shouldn't use a forwarding number from another system, with a different locale, on it's own lines!

Are you guy's also testing 3.0?? Boy there is work to be done!
