hello
i am look for some help
i would like to see the phone line from office b at the recepitionist station at office a
i do have small community networking enabled and working and i can tranfer across networks and see extentions at other offices
so small community networking is working but for some reson i can not assign a button on 4412D+ phone to see line apperence from office b at office a

my main goal is to have recepsionist at main office (office A) to answer all calls for both office but do not want to move all incoming line to office A
also would like to change ring from all lines from office b any help would be great
thank you

Easiest solution is to create a group on office b and put the reception at office a in the group.

Then point the main incoming number to this group.

set up the call to ring a group. you are trying to use the IPO as a key system having line appearances, which probably isnt the best solution when using SCN.

Using the IPO as a key system is not the best solution full stop!
create a reception group & use this as the destination for your incoming call route.

if you need to identify site A & site B calls set the tag field.

what is the best way to have site b main gruop ring when call comes in at site a
both sites are 403 3.2 i
can not add extentions to hunt group from other site in this version

so i am thinking short code or may be call foward but do not know how to do that

Please help

creat a shortcode a
Feature Dial
Number is the extension number of the group in site b
line group ID is your IP trunk ID

then in the incoming call route put that shortcode in as target for the incoming calls

i have tryed - but i think i am missing something

can you give me an example if ip trunk line is 40 and incoming line at site A is lines 1 to 4 and want them to ring site B hunt group 200

thank you

take the Incoming Group ID on the line tab lets say its 0.

in the ICR you should have incoming group ID 0 and destination should be 200.

then make a shortcode of

200
dial
200
40
