small caps in indesign CS2

Hello,

I have a document with a lot of numbers (ciphres) that are indicated as small caps. Sometimes I can see them as small caps and somtimes they are all disappeared on the screen, but still marked in the menu as small caps;
There are no problems with the characters (a b c, ....)!

Any solution???

Is there a chance that the ones that you can barely see also have a superscript (or subscript) applied to them? Or maybe are a different point size? Just a thought why that might be happening...

no, the ciphers and letters have the same size. No sub- or superscript. I can't find a logical reason why the small caps are sometimes disapeared.
