Yesterday I installed a new W2K3 Standard Server. I then installed
Exchange 2003.
The server is hanging at the "Applying computer settings" screen
before logon. If the server is disconnected from the network it will
boot/logon locally without a problem.
I therefore assume that the problem is related to DNS. The DNS
settings are set to point to 192.168.0.10 (the DC which is running
DNS. If I change the DNS settings on the new server to point to
127.0.0.1, I can also log on fine BUT the eventlog informs me that the
domain could not be found and so the GP policies are not executed.
Any help would be much appreciated.
