Slow Restore across the network

I have Veritas Backup Exec 8.5 running in a compaq server with a tape array. The backup is running in a separate LAN and the average for backup is usually around 400/500 Mb/min.
Testing the restore process with IDR, I'm getting only 20 mb/min!!!!
All NIC's + switch is forced to 100/full duplex....
Somebody knows if this is common issue or there is any setting that we can change to increase the speed?

Make sure you have the right remote agent installed and it is the latest and greatest. I have the same problem and my boss told me its because the remote agent installed is incompatible with winnt and 2000. Just reinstall the remote agent.
