Hi,
I have recently upgraded from BackupExec 9.1 to 10d and have encountered a problem.
I backup a server which is in another office but linked to us via a point to point wireless link, only 3 - 4 mbps. I remotely installed the remote agent from the 10d media server.
When using 9.1, the backup job started at 9pm, backing up the 7gb on the remote server and then proceeding to backup the other servers on our LAN. When I came in in the morning, it had backed up 122gb and was waiting on the second tape.
I started a backup last night at 19:30 and when I came in this morning, it had only backed up 5gb from the remote server and was still running. I had to cancel the job as it was killing the link and the users complained.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour and could suggest any possible remedies?
