Anyone here try doing slow motion, particularly with miniatures?
We need to blow up a helicopter for a shot and we're tempted to use a 1/72 model and actually blow it up (using AE to enhance the explosion), rather than trying to do the whole thing with 3D apps.
We're figuring we can shoot at 60 fps and then tell AE to time warp it to twice as long (30 fps), but never tried that before.
Any tips? Suggestions? Ideas?
