slow logon - help please!

Was wondering if anyone could help me with a slow logon issue to terminal server.

One user takes forever to logon to the terminal server but all other users from the same machine don't have the problem.

The user with the problem also complains that on his local workstation files and folders don't stay put. When he logs back onto his local workstation the files/folders on his desktop move back to were they were.

He is also complaining that transmitting files over the WAN is slower then other people.

DC is 2003
workstation is XP

Any help?

sounds like he may be set to user roaming TS profile and others are set to local...could be using roaming profile in general...

Thanks you hit it on the head. The one slow user was set for roaming profiles in TS and the fast ones were not. Unfortunately, I figured this out before I got your post. But thanks for the reply anyways.
