I have a Red Hat server 8.0 with DNS Bind
I am having an issue with real slow ftp connections on my server and am unsure why. Here is what is happening.
I can ssh on to the box no problem, connection is real fast. I can connect to the server via samba locally no problem… my issues is with connecting locally and externally via ftp. I can connect but it takes a real long time to connect. Any one has any ideas why this might be happening?
Is it possible the issue is related to DNS? I have ran a dig and nslookup and I find the info for the website real fast and all….
