How Can I optimise slow clone on my storage node .

I have a slow clone on my storage node (275Kb/s) on LTO3 tape ruuning on solaris .I read and I write on same L80 robot in Frankfurt , server legato index is in Paris

ping is 19.5 ms between storage node and server .

the two cpu work at 30 % on each machine , no swap , no iowait !!!
DO you have an idée.

The file index is not in charge at all during cloning. Consequently the network speed does not matter.

I assume you have the problem when cloning volumes. Which speed will you get if you clone a single, unmultiplexed save set?

Well ... just create a cackup from ONE filesystem or directory.
