I'm using BE 8.5
Backup-server is our fileserver. Also backing up another domaincontroller and our exchange2000 (in DMZ).
I know backing up the individual mailboxes is slow, so not worried there.
But the whole backup is extremely slow.
Usually got about 250 mb/s but now I'm glad if it reaches 80 mb/s.

All remote-agents are installed. I use OFO, and that seems to work too. No alerts are pending.

Also checked the switch. Backup-server is configured to use 100 FD and the switch the same.

Anyone have some tips or ideas?

Did you just upgrade to 8.5 or did this just start happening out of the blue? You may want to check out the buffer settings under the Device Tab, right click on the device, then Properties and the configuration tab. We had a similar problem after upgrading to 8.6 on some servers, and changing the buffer size to a higher value made a dramatic difference. The correct value is machine dependent, so it may not work, but maybe worth a try?
