slot range and cleanign tapes 1

Hi,

i have a question abut the slot range and the cleaning slots.

If i have a Libary (in our case a Adic Scalar i2000) and 204 Slots licenced.

In Slot 203 and 204 is a cleaning tape and this slots are set up in the Jukebox config for cleaning slots

What do i set up in usable slots ? 1-202 or 1-204 ?

Hello Novelli,

if you mean the "Available Slots" in the Jukebox config you should use 1 - 202

Hi,

i set that up in exactly that way, but when a drive asks for cleaning i got:

Cannot find any available cleaning slots

Do you have type in this command at the command line:

nsrjb -U[default cleanings] -j [name from your ADIC] -S [Cleaning Slot]

e.g. nsrjb -U 20 -j adic1 -S 203
