hi all, what type of card can be used in Slot 1 on an Option 11? we have a site where the PBX is a single cabinet and when I ran a LUC today, the PBX spit out:

REQ: luc

MARP NOT ACTIVATED

001 *

Plus, if I stat that slot in LD 20, I get the following:

REQ: stat 1
CARD UNEQ

So can I stick in a DLC or an RAO card in there or is Slot 1 reserved for T-1 cards? Wish I had the books, because that would answer this question for me, but I don't.....

Just about anything can go in Slot 1. Best to go into LD 32 and enter IDC 1. If you get a message back as NPR327, then it's spare. If you get a message back along the lines of PIRO etc, then a PRI or SDI cards could be in there.

All the best

awesome, thanks. I found one of my old class books and it shows that slot as open for TDS/DTR, which made me think that it was reserved for Digitone Receiver cards or TDS only.

You could try LD 22.... PRT CEQU, that should give you an idea if anything is programmed into Slot 1 (and others).

already did. that's how i knew it was available. also ran the inv generate cards command.....

In the early releases it was used for TDS/DTR but after 18 or 19 I think it was opened up for anything.

Can you try to goes LD 60 and make a Stat 1. To see what happens

which made me think that it was reserved for Digitone Receiver cards or TDS only.""
DTR and TDR are placed on de CPU for the option 11c

OK. From what I can see

Slot 0 = CPU CARD and your XTD'S are also listed.
Slot 1 = 2 Meg ISDN 30 DASS or DPNSS Trunks
Slot 2 = 2 Meg ISDN 30 Euro or Qsig type trunks
Slot 3 = Misp card

Is this a UK configured system?. I'm guessing that slots 4 onwards would have standard extension cards. We normally used to put a digital card in slot 4. One of your cards would have to be a SILC one.

This information is found in LD 27 for the SILC.
