Has anyone seen these increment on a 26xx e1 controller?
If so what did you do to fix it?

It is very common on t1 controllers and 2600s. I used these commands. Slip secs went away. How many controllers are in the router?

network-clock-participate wic 0
network-clock-select 1 T1 0/0

I haven't programmed any e1s.

Hi there,

I put the commands in but it has not resolved the problem. It looks as though it could be a problem with the PSTN PRI.

How do I go about convincing the PTT that this is a problem on their side? Will the errors I'm seeing show up on a trend if they do some circuit testing?

Thanks for your support in advance!!!!

As MIA pointed out this looks like a clocking issue. I would contact the provider and have them monitor the line to see if they are seeing any errors. You can have them do a loopback as well, although it will probably come back clean. Just confirm with them who is supposed to be providing the clocking, you or them then configure appropriately.

Thats what I was thinking, BERT (Bit Error Rate) - I was not sure if it would detect slipage. If so I'm ok if not will I need a trend?

Whats the best way to convince the PTT that their is a problem?
