Hi can you help

From a previous thread I have moved from Panasonic to NEC and cannot figure out the night setup for auto attendant.

What I want to happen is as follows

Day Mode...Auto Attendant answers gives options etc...a number of the options go to external numbers. Message 1 (501)
Night Mode....Auto attendant answers (different message) gives options for night time...a number of the options go to external numbers. Message 10 (510)
Night mode switches on at 6pm and back to day at 8am.

All the above works manually, what I mean is I have to logon to pcpro in the morning and evening and and enter the message number into 22-11-05. Everything works correctly all options on the auto attendant work even to the external numbers.

Obliviously the above is not practical to do...

I have tried everything but when I think I have it working correctly but when I go to try the options it wont allow the caller to be transfer to an external number. The only way I can get it to work is to put the VRS message into 22-11-05 and all works.

In easyedit all trunks are set to DID for all modes

What am I missing....have 5 x SL2100 all the same problem.

Any help would be very much appreciated

Michael

Night mode switches on at 6pm and back to day at 8am.

You need to populate MB's 12-01-02 12-02,12-03
In 12-01-02, check auto night switching
In 12-02, set your time to a pattern. In this MB, the time does not cross over midnight, EX: 00:00 to 08:00 = night mode, 08:00 to 18:00 = day mode, 18:00 to 00:00 = night mode. Send them to a mode in 22-02. From there your current settings should be OK.

22-10 and 22-13 defines the DID translation table areas that the different time modes go to. By default time mode 1 goes to 1-100, time mode 2 101-200, 3 201-300, 4 301-400. If the system cannot match an according time mode, it will go to any other matching DID entry. So put your nighttime DID entry into area 2.
And of course, ensure that your automatic time switching is working. On the multi-line terminals, the display should say "Night" in the bottom right in time mode 2. (In 12-07 I like to assign a name to Mode 1 and call it Day, so that I see that on the screen as well)
