SKYPE SIP LINE

Hi to all,

I am trying to set up SKYPE sip line for a customer.
Does anyone have a sample configuration for that?
Nor Skype, nor Avaya has anything about it.

I did it last week.
The only downside was that you needed to dail the country code too.
Which ipo and which software version?

I tried it on 6.1.5 and this is how i did it:

ITSP Domain name: sip.skype.com
ITSP Proxy address: 78.141.179.70
Network topology: None
IPRoute:
78.141.179.0
255.255.255.0
ipaddress of your router
Lan1 or 2 (depends on which one you use)

Local URI: Use credential user name
Contact: Use credential user name
Display name: Use credential user name
PAI: None

Compression mode: G.711
Re-invite: Checked
Preferred codec: Checked


Credential need to be put in and then select Registration on the SIP URI tab.

This should work on 6.1.5

i admit when i tried is was some version ago.

I have had it working on 6.1 and 7.0 but only with international number being dialed.

I've tried it with a trial license and works ok. A touch on the slow side but the server I used was well under speced!!!
