My Problem is here....

I have a website that the user already entered his Uname and Pwd to the site. Here there will be alink to enter Cognos upfront and this should not prompt to enter login and pwd again(i.e it should take same Uname & Pwd while they entered to the website) and it should display the upfront page as per the user class. I really appreciates if u guys can give the solution.

Thanks
Kris

Hi Kris,

there are several steps to customize Cognos tools to bypass this prompt
1. in Access manager, open the properties windows of your namespace ; in Signon, apply both for active signons.
2. in Access manager, open the propoerties windows of your user ; in Users Signons, apply an OS Signons ; the sintax is NT DOMAIN name\User NT
3. in Internet services manager, open the properties of the server;in master properties, click on Edit
In directory Security, anonymous access..., click on Edit
And you have to only apply Integrated Windows authentification

Hi,

Can u say that how we create .dll for number of users (with user name and domain name) in Trusted signon.
Caz is only ExampleSignon and ExampleDomain is there in sample .dll file which supplied by cognos.
I think after creating .dll then we have to register with Access Manager Registration for implementing the Trusted signons. Plz do me clarify what to do next.

Kris
