I'm writing a little application using MS Visual C++ 2003 and I've got the following problem: I want some boxes not to be resizeable and not to display that stupid little triangle in down right corner - you know what I mean - that's not professionally to allow application users to resize many of dialog boxes. please reply fast

I agree - I see plenty of dialogs which should be resizable, but which are not for no good reason.

All the more annoying when you're trying to select long filenames for example.

Let the users' decide how big each dialog should be.

yeah... I agree with you but somtimes it's NECESSARILY not to allow users to resize them, as in the MS word insert symbol box

you said that they were rather smart - rather, but bot in all cases

On fatality, no. but it worsk properly when line (form name)::FormBorderStyle=System::Windows::Forms::FormBorderStyle::FixedDialog;
