Hi:
My os is win xp, sp 3, home ed. & FrontPage 2000.
I need help setting up an xml sitemap that Google can find.
I have made a sitemap using the Sitemapspal generator, installed it in my FrontPage website on the Index page but it cannot be found by Google or any other sitemap validator service. Not sure what is wrong and have tried several different URLs for my sitemap which is at: (I believe this is the correct URL for the sitemap)
Here's the Sitemapspal code I inserted into my FP website from the notepad copy:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<urlset xmlns="<url>
<loc><lastmod>2013-02-10</lastmod>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>
<url>
<loc><lastmod>2013-02-10</lastmod>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>
<url>
<loc><lastmod>2013-02-10</lastmod>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>
<url>
<loc><lastmod>2013-02-10</lastmod>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>
<url>
<loc><lastmod>2013-02-10</lastmod>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>
<url>
<loc><lastmod>2013-02-10</lastmod>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>
<url>
<loc><lastmod>2013-02-10</lastmod>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>
<url>
<loc><lastmod>2013-02-10</lastmod>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>
<url>
<loc><lastmod>2013-02-10</lastmod>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>
<url>
<loc><lastmod>2013-02-10</lastmod>
<changefreq>monthly</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>
</urlset>

When I submit my site to Google, it shows there is 1 error and also this message = General HTTP error: 404 not found HTTP Error: 404

Thank you for any suggestions, leads or fixes for this issue,
