Site to site vpn using 2 voyager 220v

Does anyone know how to setup a site to site vpn using two BT voyager 220v routers.

Is there a way to set this up so equipment at either end does not require any client.

I have a computer at a remote site that needs to talk to a dos computer on the main office site that is part of the office network.

Both of these routers do not need access to any other part of the internet except the ability to talk to the other router.

Also if this is not possible could anyone suggest a suitable adsl router that would allow this to be configured.

I do not see any hint of a VPN in this PDF

Although it seems to allow passthrough of VPN clients.

If it was mine to support, I would put the 220v in 'IP extension mode' and use RV042 routers.

I've configured a windows XP pro computer as the vpn server at the main office.

I now have a major problem:

The remote PC which I have connected via xp's vpn client with a 'main office acceptable lan IP' is not being accepted as a local PC by the the dos computer that the remote PC needs to talk.

I can ping the dos computer, but the application that needs info from the dos computer has a link failure.

Do you have any suggestions that may work with this setup?
