Hello

I need to connect 3 sites using VPN we have ADSL and 2600 cisco routers, how can I do it and what do I need more?

Thanks

This could take a lot of explaining. I assume each router has a static IP. I do not believe that 2600 routers support VPN authentication on board, so what kind of servers do you have behind these routers?

Thanks for your reply

Yes each router has a static IP, we can change routers if it requires, I want the VPN connection between routers not between servers if possible , if you need more explaination please ask me

Thanks for your kindly help

You can download a 3-des version of the IOS for the 2600 to accomplish the VPN tunnel. However, the router is not really designed for this. You may find this solution to be VERY slow. The software is going to have to encrypt and decrypt every packet coming through. On top of that, the routers will still be routing. Your best bet is to purchase a VPN appliance of some sort.
The IOS you want is c2600-ik2s-mz.121-19.bin
IP PLUS IPSEC 3DES 40 8 10-MAR-2003 (you need a CCO acount to get it)

Well There are routers in the market fast in doing this such as cisco 7100 or 3600 we might go for it but how set it up through adsl line connection, we have a main site and 2 sites well connect to it and some sites in other countries may connect to the main site but my main issue is my local sites and offcourse we'll be using IPsec

any suggestions?!

thanks
