I had tried to install a CAP on the other BDC - It failed giving a simular message as this one. Now I am trying to uninstall it. Does anybody know which account it is trying to use? and what rights does this account need. I had one account in the connection accounts/site systems folder when I saw the error I set another user/pass up in Admin console and NT server. The error message follows. Any Ideas?

Thanks
Neal
Code:
SMS Site Component Manager successfully used the SMS_SERVER_BOOTSTRAP_SMS-BDC service to run the following program on site system "\\BDC0":

	\\BDC0\C$\SMS\bin\i386\smsexecd.exe /deinstall /siteserver:SMS-BDC

The program failed for the following reason:

Could not establish a connection to the site server using the SMS Service Connect Account.

Possible cause: SMS Site Component Manager does not have sufficient access rights to administer the site system.
Solution: Verify that the Site System Connection accounts are properly configured to allow SMS to administer the site system.

SMS Site Component cannot install component SMS_EXECUTIVE until the program runs successfully. If this problem persists and you cannot fix it, refer to your SMS documentation or the Microsoft Knowledge Base for further troubleshooting information.

I am experiencing the same problem. Does anyone have any solutions to this isue?

I found out when I had this problem that the Site Account password was too strong. Try using a password without special characters.

Sound wierd but it worked.
