I'm now working on my sitemap page, hey I finally get to use a table in it's proper context - woohoo!

the thing i'd like advice on is what order I should put the links.

should it match the actual site layout, or is alphabetical order more appropriate.

should I group the links in categories?

What's the best way to do this?

thanks

Did you see how unstyled definition list looks like? I think it looks very nicely organised, and while not on the same row as a table, it clearly shows what fits where.

Vragabond, yes I did, hence then playing with XSS to style how I wanted it with 2 columns.

Unstyled didn't behave how I expected, nothing ever does, not sure I can think of anything i'm doing that warrants their use, at least i've learned something new and added a new tag to my arsenal!

This isn't exactly what you were doing, but the second example on this page used Definition Lists

Isn't that what you were doing?

hmmm , interesting, I'll have to bare that in mind, though over use of images to create effects that 'should' be acheivable with standard CSS , must be concidered, accessability is also about page size and load times isn't it?

and what about readers that can't display images, how would it look then.

Man all this standards, accessibilty & semantics, is far too much food for thought, i'm stuffed! - lol

nice one foamy!
