We have a CS1000E r7.0 and have used the SIPGw "auto number is DN" feature for linking Unified messaging.

There is another selection called "auto number is prefix" and we are trying to figure out what this option is used for?

We have a SIP route setup which prepends the LOC and are wondering if this setting will help modify the SIP headers to the non-Nortel remote SIP server.

Does anyone know how this setting applies (auto number is prefix)?
