Any one remember the command to start ws in mcd 4.2 shell?

I have tried WSstart WS_Start Start_WS

just can't remember.............

Are you saying Wireshark is built into MCD? All this time I've been mirroring ports and running it on from pc's. Or are you dreaming???

You can do it from esm too siptcpdump on/off
@619tech this only traces sip packets that include the controller so no peep-peer just call setup/teardown etc

Bobcheese where does it put the trace file? Or does it show the results in the ESM?

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

you have to ftp to the rtc address, log in and change directory to /vmail it is in there in the root

Thanks Lads

Yep really good feature to Diagnose SIP activity.

Has saved my bacon many a time when diagnosing faults when provisioning sip trunks.
