Hi people,

I have found this:
_______________________________________________________
The SIP trunk is licensed per number of routes and not by number of trunk lines as for H.323 trunk and H.323 IP networking.
FAL 104 6634 SIP trunk
_______________________________________________________

Does this mean that I can add more IPLU boards and get more trunks, without buying additional licenses ( as long as trunks belong to same route)?

Best regards,

The Curious

for example:

There are 2 IPLU boards, and want to use them for SIP trunks. All SIP trunks are in the same route.

1)Do I need only 1 license for SIP trunk FAL 104 6634 ?

2)Do I need 64 licenses for IP trunks FAL 104 5307, or I do not need this license at all?

You need one in that case....

SIP-trunks do not use TRU's in a normal way you only initiate one and on that tru you can call as much as you have GW resources.

Thanks fidde,

I came to same conclusion, that I need only one SIP trunk FAL 104 6634 license in this case.

I am curious if anyone tried SIP trunk interoperability with other PBX vendors,(Mitel, Cisco, Nortel, Avaya..)and what features can be expected ?

Best regards,

The Curious
