We have a CS1K 7.5. I want to have a dial plan to reach a SIP server (Asterisk) that we use for paging on SIP Speakers.

Telus is telling us that we need to buy a SIP session manager to handle this. CS1K dosen't have the capability to talk SIP with others devices built-in? Basically, I just want to dial a number that will reach the Asterisk server over SIP, and all the others prompts or operation will be done in the Asterisk to the paging devices...

Anyone can help?

Regards

You don't need session manager. You need NRS. You need licenses to do this also. Last I was told up to 2 SIP end points were supported by Avaya by using NRS. Session Manager also requires System Manager, if you are doing more than 2 end points.

Do you know what is the exact license?
