I see in this forum there are alot of others like me, that are new to programming SIP trunks with providers.
I have read some of the Application Notes on how to configure SIP trunks with various providers but the one thing I can't seem to find is some sort of generic document or check list of information that customer or installer should get from the provider. Is there such a doc out there??? It sure would nice to have something to use along with the how to configure Notes.

As with anything else I guess once you program afew of them they become old hat.. But not at that point yet..

Any information would be appreciated

What you need to get from your provider is:
- Proxy Server Address (and/or domain Name);
- Username / Number;
- VoIP password.

Then you can follow the guide document from Avaya in order to make a SIP Trunk up and running! :)

If you still have any issues post them here and we can help you!
