i connecting 1000e system with SP providing SIP trunk but i want to comunnecat with it as point to point no NRS. i am able to recieve calls from the SP but i cannt sen digits to his IP

any idea.

thanks.

Your PBX does not know what the IP address is of the far end......... Sig server and IP Trunk cards allow for this. So without a sig server and NRS there is not much you can do to point at the far ends IP address.....

hi

do you mean i can not comunicate without NRS.

You need to create a relationship between the Destination IP ADDRESS and the CDP Code in the CallServer.

The virtual DCH will take that info and try to resolve it to an IP Address, so it can send the call over Voip. Inbound works, because the far end knows the IP of you PBX.

Making a call from your side, there is no other place to enter the IP Address of the far end, unless you have an NRS pointing it there.

Itg Trunk cards had a built in function for CDP to IP resolution and you could enter that info in the cards config through OTM (call dialing plan), Succession 3.0 had the Gatekeeper on the Sig Server to do that, and since Succession 4.x the NRS does that function. I'm not sure if you can HACK the sig server to do this but there would be almost no point since the you don't "Pay" for the NRS, it's an option when you install the Sig Server.
