MiVb 8.0 Pr3 - SIp trunks

We keep getting asked by customers whether we can advise them how utilised their SIP trunks are

for example they may have 30 trunks - can we tell them how often and when they may be getting near to using all 30

is there any logging when there are no trunks available.

I fired up analytic s in demo mode and saw that it did provide some stats - how does this collect that data from teh pabx?
is it based on SNMP ?
if so could the customer use an existing SNMP monitoring tool to collect this data ?

Never really was able to fire up a test SNMP server to display Mitel Stats so am unable to confirm this for myself.

Just wondering if anyone else has a means by shich we can determine whether the customer has the correct amount of trunks

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Does it come through an MBG?

There are some built in stats in the MBG

The 3300 has a traffic report, It's text based similar to SMDR can be output to a printer port or network port.
This is how prarie fyre/MiCC usually collects the data.

In your MCD
See System Properties -> System Feature Settings -> Traffic Report Options
Hit the help file on that form for more info. It's somewhat difficult to decipher without a call accounting package.

YEah and it always drove me nuts trying to work out what it meant ( i think im too old to learn about erlangs and ccs)

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
