SIP trunk UPDATE method rfc 3311

The ipo not respond to UPDATE message sent from ITSP
Not are possible to disable the UPDATE feature in IPO

Test alreay made:
- enable or disable RE-INVITE
- enable or disable PRACK/100rel
- enable or disable REFER

Issue on incoming call:
The ITSP sees the announcement of the UPDATE option sent from IPO during Trying and Ringing steps.
The IPO does not respond to the UPDATE message sent from ITSP
The ITSP drop the call after 30/45 seconds.

Does anyone have the same problem?
 
Have you got keep alives turned on in the LAN / Network Topology tab?

yes.
I have tried with and without keepalive.
I also have tried with diffent network configuration:
- different interface (Lan1 or Lan2)
- directly connected to public network or behind a firewall that does nat

For be sure that the Update packet arrive into IPO i have put in debug with IPOffice sys monitor
I see the UPDATE packet and the relative SIP log:

I have already had such a problem and raised to Avaya, they stated that the UPDATE criteria is not supported on 8.x, even if announced.
It should be introduced in the 8.1 coming soon, we solved by requesting the service provider not to use update.

You should contact Distributor or Avaya and ask them for Private Build which resolves problem "No response to a SIP "UPDATE" packet".
Private Build patch number is 8.0.437201. This fix won't be included in Maintenance Release 8.0 Q2, but only in upcoming 8.1 (GA june 29th).
I had the same problem and this Private Build has fixed it...

Had the same problem, just looked in the config you should also use a STUN server otherwise it won't work! I used the STUN server from the provider and tested with stunserver.org

I asked my distributor for have the build 8.0.437201
As soon i test this build, i report the results in this post..

it's easy! just try all 10,000 possible configurations ..
