SIP Trunk Ports

Hi,

Does anyone have a definitive list of ports which need to be opened for SIP trunk usage on an IPO?

I've had a look at the knowledgebase but can't find what I am looking for. I know that SIP uses port 5060 but does any other ports also need to be opened?

What provider are you working with? Have you checked if there are any Application Notes for your provider?

I have info and experience with programming the IPO with a SIP trunk but the customer has asked if there is anything they need to open on their firewall to allow the traffic to flow. I can't see this detailed in any doc I have seen unless I am missing something?

The SIP is being provided across a leased line so there is no dedicated link for the SIP.

We use Hipcom trunks and we don't need to open any ports, their SBC takes care of everything in that regard.
