Hi All I have a customer with and IP500v2 on R9 with Gamma SIP trunks who cant call numbers in Belgium. Can call other international number no issue. After checking the programing we contacted Gamma and they have stated the following:

The number that you're dialling from maybe withheld on the call and the number called does not accept calls from withheld numbers. Please check to see if the CLI can be released and try again.
- In the INVITE packet, which indicates to Gamma the start of a call, our IP address should be in the request line as it is Gamma that you are sending the INVITE to.
- The PAID heading maybe missing and this is being rejected by the carrier for this reason. A PAID, or P-Asserted-Identity, header is required for the Emergency Services and should include a number that is directly related to the end users. Implementing PAID will fix this issue.

And they have also attached some wireshark traces that I will also attach here, but am I wrong in thinking if they can catch data with wireshark at there end the SIP call is making it to them so its a Gamma issue?

No as they said you need to be sending a PAID.

This is programmed on the URI of the SIP line used for the outgoing calls.

Agree with Pepp77, in the SIP URI entry put the PAID "Use Credentials User Name", that should work just fine.

Hi Pepp, set the PAI as suggested but still no joy. This is a London based customer that calls over the SIP trunk world wide and this issue is only present calling any Belgium numbers. Getting a 404 not found message in the trace??

I will add some trace shots later.

Thanks for your help but we have found the problem. We have investigated this further with Gamma and have been advised:

After investigating this further what we can see is the network CLI mapped via the PAID header is not being passed through to Vodafone which is required on calls to some international destinations, The Switch that this is on is an old Cisco switch which the customers call traverse through, it is stripping the PAID/network CLI.
In order to resolve this issue you would need to migrate the endpoint, this is done by ordering a new endpoint and migrating the CLI's over. This way it then brings the Traffic through the correct format of a TSS switch instead of a Cisco switch.
