Hi All I have a customer with and IP500v2 on R9 with Gamma SIP trunks who cant call numbers in Belgium. Can call other international number no issue. After checking the programing we contacted Gamma and they have stated the following:
The number that you're dialling from maybe withheld on the call and the number called does not accept calls from withheld numbers. Please check to see if the CLI can be released and try again.
- In the INVITE packet, which indicates to Gamma the start of a call, our IP address should be in the request line as it is Gamma that you are sending the INVITE to.
- The PAID heading maybe missing and this is being rejected by the carrier for this reason. A PAID, or P-Asserted-Identity, header is required for the Emergency Services and should include a number that is directly related to the end users. Implementing PAID will fix this issue.
And they have also attached some wireshark traces that I will also attach here, but am I wrong in thinking if they can catch data with wireshark at there end the SIP call is making it to them so its a Gamma issue?
