SIP TRUNK CONFIGURATIONS SERVICE PROVIDER (PSTN)

Hellow Team I have configured SIP Trunk from Service provier......with pilot Number +255222211150..(given from provider)
But trie to calll from Extension to mobile it bring the message of ''CALL INCOMPATIBLE'' So what is the issue......?

This could be caused by many things.

To start off, it looks like you're sending the extension number as your FROM URI. Your provider might not like that, most providers require a true number to be sent as the FROM URI. In your case +255222211150 should be sent as the outbound FROM and Caller ID field. This - might - fix it.

The other thing if that doesn't fix it, your provider may require an account code or other string of digits before the number you are trying to dial, also they may require a full country code before it will accept the call. This is provider specific and you might have to look at the provider's documentation for requirements on outward dialing.

Third thing is that you may need to whitelist your external IP with the provider to make sure you are allowed to dial outbound from your system. Again, this is provider specific and can change depending on who you are dealing with.

I succeed to send the pilot number to service provider and OUTBOUND is working Good ....Now the issue is on INBOUND

On the Destination I put The Extensio number as usual

So but it does not work....Is there any means...?
 
Remove the Incoming Number field if you want the system to answer all calls on the SIP trunk.

I have put it as you said but it say .....and trie to call 0222211150 it says the number you have dialed does not Exist.....

See also my attachments.....and the machine is release 8...or we should upgrade ? and if we neeed to upgrade licence is required?

Try something like this in your SIP Call Details:

Use the PAsserted ID for your outbound caller ID

On your incoming call route either add the route or leave it blank for any DID.

This is release 11 so it looks a little different but it should do what you want.
 
Release 8... Hm the line settings is so much easier to fiddle with since R11.

Probably the IPO is answering back to line provider a SIP 404 not found or a SIP 503 message. something with the format in the destination is incompatible.
How the destination number is converted internally depends on how the SIP line is set up.

I would run a Sys Monitor trace with only the filters SIP: SIP Call RX, SIP Call TX and Call: Targeting selected.
(make it more visible by righ-clicking these selections and choose different colors)
Make an incoming call, Check what the Targeting says in the first 2 lines, there you will see how the destination numbers are converted internally.
I would use only a period . as a destination. that way you can modify the targeting number within System Short Codes, like:
Code: 0222211150 (or what you saw in the Trace). Tel Number: 150 (your extension number) Feature: Dial Extn
 
@JOUL you are right because on the system status it gives 404 not found....
